PBS American Portrait Project (2020) One of 5 portraits I shot & directed for PBS American Portrait Project, a year long storytelling project by PBS. This one was shot on super8 with the prompt ‘When I step outside my door’.

Lucidity (2018) Inspired and empowered by the Me Too movement, in 2017 women begin to speak out and share their stories. A young female filmmaker is confronted with her own traumatic experience, and looks for a way to express herself, because, she too, can't stay silent.

A Life Before This (2016)

'Welcome to the club that nobody wants to be a member of'. That was one of the first things that Constance Malcolm heard when she lost her son Ramarley Graham on February 2nd of 2012 when he was shot and killed in their Bronx apartment by a police officer. Ever since she has said the same thing more often than she would have liked to other parents. 

A Life Before This tells the story of a mother who hangs on to the last bit of hope of getting justice for the son she lost, while getting up every day and fighting against police brutality and gun violence, in the hope that one day she doesn't have to greet new members to the club anymore.
